Los Limones is a small community in the north east part of María Trinidad Sánchez Province, Dominican Republic. It is located in the El Pozo municipal district. The story behind the name of the community probably dates to before the locality was colonized.

La Isabela
La Isabela in the Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic is considered the first formal European settlement in the New World. It was founded by Christopher Columbus during his second voyage in 1493 and named after Queen Isabella I of Castile.
