Hato del Yaque

Hato Del Yaque is a municipal district in the province of Santiago, Dominican Republic. Its urban centre is located 10 km west of the city of Santiago de los caballeros. Hato del yaque had a population of 25,816 people in 2002. The population of its urban center in 2002 was 18,354 people. In 1979 Hurricane David destroyed many homes alongside the river in the city of Santiago. Most of those people were relocated in what is now the town of Hato del Yaque.

The Arena Del Cibao Dr. Oscar Gobaira above The Palacio De Los Deportes, is a 8,768-seat multi-purpose arena in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, built in 1978. The arena has a capacity of 8,768 seats consisting of 7,000 regular seats, 668 comfortable armchairs and 1,100 luxury seats that are fully reclinable. The arena has a modern acoustic system, which has 16 speakers and 10 monitors.

Estadio Cibao

Estadio Cibao is a multi-use stadium in Santiago, Dominican Republic. Currently, it is mostly used for baseball games and hosts the home games of the Águilas Cibaeñas in the Dominican Winter Baseball League. The stadium opened on October 25, 1958 and was constructed by the engineer Bienvenido Maartinez Brea. Estadio Cibao seats 18,077 spectators, making it the largest in the Dominican Republic.
