Castle of Boutavent

The castle of Boutavent is in Iffendic, France. The ruins of the castle, built in the Middle Ages, are on a natural rocky spur at the place name Boutavent. The land, surrounded by the forest of Paimpont and the pond of Boutavent, stretches over more that 2 hectares. It has been confirmed that during the 13th and 14th century, the castle belonged to the Lords of Montfort. It was also part of the goods of the family of Montfort with the Comper, Montfort, Montauban and Gaël castles.

Château de Combourg

The Château de Combourg is a castle in the commune of Combourg in the Ille-et-Vilaine département, in Brittany, France. The castle stands on a small hill next to Lac Tranquille (Lake Tranquil) in the town. Privately owned, the Château de Combourg is listed as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture. This building is open to the public.

Château de Dinan

The Château de Dinan consists of a keep, in the town of Dinan, in the Côtes-d'Armor département of the Brittany region of France. The keep and the gate are part of the 2,600 metres of medieval ramparts which still surround the old town. It is called Donjon de la duchesse Anne (Keep of the Duchess Anne), and stands 111 feet (34m) high near the Saint Louis gate. John V, Duke of Brittany built the keep in 1382-1383.
