Sables-d'Or-les-Pins

Sables-d'Or-les-Pins is a French Seaside resort, located mainly in Fréhel commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department in Brittany in northwestern France. It was created in 1921 and is known for its long beach located along a spit and its dunes. Roland Brouard, the initiator of the project, intended to create a competitor to resorts like Deauville and La Baule. In 1929, as a consequence of the Great Depression, the development of the resort stopped.

Cap Fréhel

Cap Fréhel is a peninsula in Côtes-d'Armor, in northern Brittany, France which extends off the Côte d'Émeraude into the Golfe de Saint-Malo. No towns or villages are situated on the peninsula however two lighthouses, one from the 17th century and the other one from 1950, are located at the tip of it. The Cap is located 8.5 km from the town centre of Fréhel, although, administratively, it is located within the territory of the commune of Plévenon.

Fort-la-Latte

Fort-la-Latte or Castle of La Latte is a castle located about 4 km southeast of Cap Fréhel and about 35 km west of Saint-Malo, in the commune of Fréhel, Côtes-d'Armor, Brittany, France. It is a famous tourist attraction on the Cote d'Émeraude in the northeast of Brittany. This impressive castle was built on a small piece of land at the Baie de la Fresnaye in the 13th century. Various films have been shot at this site, including The Vikings with Kirk Douglas and Tony Curtis.

Saint-Aaron

Saint-Aaron is a town located in Lamballe, in Brittany, a region of France. Having originally be settled by the Celtic Bretons, it is named after the Celtic Saint Aaron of Aleth, who was born somewhere in Wales or perhaps Brittany. Lamballe is near Saint-Malo to the North and Saint-Briec to the South.

The Singing Stones of Brittany

The 'Pierre Sonnantes' or Singing Stones of Brittany are located on the left bank of the river L'Arguenon opposite the ruined castle of Gilles de Bretagne at Notre-Dame-le-Guildo, near Dinard in the Cotes D'Armor. The stones are round and smooth, shiny black and extremely large, weighing in excess of ten tonnes each and are made of a heavy metallic stone that rings like a bell if struck by another smaller piece of the same stone.
