Charentonne

The Charentonne is a 63 km long river in Normandy, left tributary of the Risle. The river begins in pays d'Ouche, in the forest of Saint-Évroult, in the south of the Saint-Évroult-Notre-Dame-du-bois village and the ruins of the abbey where lived and died Orderic Vitalis (1075-1142). The river runs, in a North-North-East direction, towards the Risle with which it joins at Serquigny. The Charentonne valley, which separates the Lieuvin plateau and the Ouche plateau has stiff and wooded slopes.

Château du Champ de Bataille

The Château du Champ-de-Bataille, is a castle which is located in the region Haute-Normandie, which is part of the Department Eure. It is situated between the commune of Neubourg and Sainte-Opportune-du-Bosc, and in the Campagne du Neubourg between the river Risle in the west and the river Iton in the east, Château du Champ-de-Bataille is a baroque castle. It was built in 17th century for the Maréchal de Créqui.

Arboretum d'Harcourt

The Arboretum d'Harcourt (11 hectares) is a historic arboretum located on the grounds of the 14th-century Château d'Harcourt in Harcourt, Eure, Haute-Normandie, France. The arboretum is one of the oldest in France, dating to 1802 when Louis-Gervais Delamare acquired the castle and its grounds. He introduced pine cultivation on 200 hectares.
