Vaux-le-Vicomte
The Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte is a baroque French château located in Maincy, near Melun, 55 km southeast of Paris in the Seine-et-Marne département of France. It was built from 1658 to 1661 for Nicolas Fouquet, Marquis de Belle Île, Viscount of Melun and Vaux, the superintendent of finances of Louis XIV. The château was an influential work of architecture in mid-17th century Europe.

Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame, Melun
The Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame (Collégiale Notre-Dame de Melun) is a church in the French town of Melun, on rue de la Courtille on the île Saint-Etienne. Formerly a collegiate church, it was founded between 1016 and 1031 by Robert II of France. Until around 1775 it housed the 1450 Melun Diptych and in 1840 it was made a monument historique.
