Château de Nadaillac-de-Rouge

The Château de Nadaillac-de-Rouge is a castle, rebuilt as a Renaissance château, in the commune of Nadaillac-de-Rouge in the Lot département of France. Construction dates from the 15th, 17th and 18th centuries. The site of Nadaillac is first recorded from the 11th century. The castle seems to have been rebuilt after the Hundred Years' War on its original foundations. The corps de logis was enlarged with the addition of wings during the 17th century.

Alzou (Ouysse)

The Alzou is a short river in the Lot département, southern France, a right tributary of the Ouysse. It flows through the town Rocamadour, and joins the Ouysse, itself a left tributary of the Dordogne, downstream of Rocamadour. The valleys of both the Alzou and the Ouysse are deep limestone canyons. Bouriane

Bouriane is a natural region of France located in the department of Lot, but with a smaller part in Lot-et-Garonne. Its capital is the small town of Gourdon. Historically, Bouriane was part of the Quercy, an ancient province which extends up to the Dordogne River and neighbours the Périgord. The region is characterized by its sandy soils and gentle hills covered with forests where chestnut trees predominate.
