The Parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc is a regional natural park situated in the south of the Massif Central within the Aveyron, Hérault and Tarn departments of France. These areas are considered the Haut-Languedoc, compared to the Bas-Languedoc. Administered by the Fédération des Parcs Naturels Régionaux de France, it was created on 22 October 1973 and revised 17 August 1999. Château de Saint-Izaire
The Château de Saint-Izaire is a 14th century episcopal castle in the commune of Saint-Izaire in the Aveyron département of France. Since 1991 it has been classified as a historical monument. It is maintained by an association known as Vie et Château (Life and Castle), who have created a mini museum on the premises to record the history of the castle and the inhabitants of the village of Saint-Izaire.
