Salat (river)

The Salat is a river in southern France, a right tributary of the Garonne. It rises in nine points above the hamlet Salau in the municipality Couflens, on the slopes of Mont Rouch, central Pyrenees. The former Gascon province of Couserans is based on its valley.

Volp

The Volp is a 40 km long river of southwestern France. It is a right tributary of the Garonne, which it joins upstream of Cazères, Haute-Garonne. A flood in 1993 ruined a marginal amount of cropland. The Château de Boussan is a ruined castle in the commune of Boussan in the Haute-Garonne département of France. The property of the commune, it has been listed since 1926 as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.

Château de Saint-Élix-le-Château

Not to be confused with Château de Saint-Élix-Séglan The Château de Saint-Élix is a 16th century castle in the commune of Saint-Élix-le-Château in the Haute-Garonne département of France. Built in the 1540s, it is privately owned and has been listed since 1927 as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture. Of note are the orangery, stables, walls and pigeon loft.
