Cenomanian

The Cenomanian is, in the ICS' geological timescale the oldest or earliest age of the Late Cretaceous epoch or the lowest stage of the Upper Cretaceous series. An age is a unit of geochronology: it is a unit of time; the stage is a unit in the stratigraphic column deposited during the corresponding age. Both age and stage bear the same name. As a unit of geologic time measure, the Cenomanian age spans the time between 99.6 ± 0.9 and 93.5 ± 0.8 .

Nyons Bridge

Jardin des Arômes

The Jardin des Arômes is a botanical garden specializing in aromatic plants, located along the Promenade de la Digue, Nyons, Drôme, Rhône-Alpes, France. It is open daily; admission is free. The garden was created in 1983 on the banks of the river Eygues, and now contains about 200 types of aromatic and medicinal plants, including cedar, Cercis siliquastrum, chestnut, cypress, juniper, olive trees, pine, and rosemary, thyme, and viburnum.
