La Pyramide

La Pyramide was a Michelin Guide 3-star restaurant located in Vienne, Isère, France. It was widely believed to be the best restaurant in France while its owner Fernand Point (1897–1955) was alive. Point was born in Louhans. A larger-than-life man in every way, he was his generation's master of la grande cuisine, simplifying the work of Escoffier. Point's protégés became masters of the Nouvelle cuisine of the 1960s and 1970s.

Bonnevaux Abbey (Dauphiné)

not to be confused with Bonnevaux Abbey (Poitou) or Bonneval Abbey (Aveyron) Bonnevaux Abbey is a former Cistercian monastery in Lieudieu near Villeneuve-de-Marc in the Isère department of France, in the region of the Dauphiné, 25 kilometres east of Vienne and about 6 kilometres south-east of Saint-Jean-de-Bournay on the northern edge of the Forêt de Bonnevaux.

Lyon tramway

The current tramway network in Lyon comprises 6 lines. Line T1 opened in 2001; T2 opened in 2001; T3 opened at the end of 2006; line T4 opened in 2009; line Rhônexpress in 2010 ; and T5 in 2012 . The tramway system complements the Lyon metro and forms an integral part to the public transportation system (TCL) in Lyon. The tramway network in Lyon was first developed in 1879, but the modern network was not built until 2001. The network is currently served by 73 Alstom Citadis 302 trams.
