Redoubt Kali

Redoubt Kali, a Russian fort on the east coast of the Black Sea which had existed in 1907, 10 miles north of Poti. It was captured by the British during the Crimean War in 1854. More commonly called 'Redut Kale', modern Kulevi in Georgia.

Kulevi oil terminal

The Kulevi oil terminal is an oil port on the eastern Black Sea coast in Georgia. The terminal is located in Khobi District, close to the populated area of the village Kulevi, formerly Redoubt Kali, and from the coastal area between rivers Tsiva and Khobistskali.

Khobi (river)

The Khobi or Khori or Khobistskali(ხობისწყალი) is a river in Georgia. It flows into the Black Sea through the Colchis Lowland. Khobi town and Chkhorotsqu town are both situated on the banks of the Khobi river. It is used for irrigation in some areas. The source of water is mainly rain. The mean flow rate (30 km from the mouth) is 44.2 m/s, maximum 333m/s. Basin area is 1340 km. The main tributary  of the Khobi is the Chanistskali.

Poti International Airport

Poti Airport is located in Poti, Georgia. It has been closed since the collapse of the USSR in 1990s. However, the Georgian government plans on reconstructing the airport and opening it to public and private service by 2012.

Chanistsqali

The Chanistsqali is a river in the historic Mengrelia province of western Georgia. It flows through the town Tsalenjikha, and passes through the districts Tsalenjikha, Chkhorotsqu, Zugdidi and Khobi. It discharges into the river Khobistsqali near the village Narazeni, north of the town Khobi.
