Poltringen

Poltringen is a village in the centre of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is part of the Ammerbuch municipality since 1971. It has a population of 1 708 on an area of 4,84 km². Poltringen lies in the valley of the small Ammer river, a tributary of the Neckar, in the Tübingen district, almost equidistant between the towns of Herrenberg to the west and Tübingen to the east, about 10 km from both.

Poltringen Airfield

Poltringen Airfield is a private airfield located in Poltringen, which belongs to the town of Ammerbuch, Germany. It is located 9 kilometres west of Tübingen and 31 kilometres southwest of Stuttgart. It is only open to airplanes and gliders of the aviation clubs Ammerbuch, Herrenberg and Unterjesingen. Exceptions must be approved by the administration of the Tübingen region. The airfield traffic pattern for airplanes is west of the airfield at 2700 ft.

Unterjesingen is a village in the centre of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, in the Tübingen district. Since 1971, it is a part of the city of Tübingen. It has a population of 2 758 on an area of 8,73 km². Unterjesingen lies in the valley of the small Ammer river, about 2 km to the east of Pfäffingen, which is part of Ammerbuch, and 6 km to the west of the town centre of Tübingen.

Hirschau is a village in Tübingen district in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Since 1971, it is an outer district of the city of Tübingen. Hirschau has a population of 3428 on an area of 6,17 km². It is the westernmost district of Tübingen. Hirschau lies to the north of the Neckar river, about 3 km to the east of Wurmlingen, which is a part of Rottenburg am Neckar, and about 6 km to the east of the town centre of Rottenburg am Neckar as well as to the west of the city centre of Tübingen.
