Giebelstadt Army Airfield

For the civil airport use of this facility after 2006, see Giebelstadt Airport Giebelstadt Army Airfield is a closed military airfield located in Germany southwest of Giebelstadt; approximately 250 miles southwest of Berlin. It was turned over to the German government on 23 June 2006 and is now a general aviation airport. Fliegerhorst Giebelstadt was one of the first Luftwaffe airfields, being established in 1935.

Löffelstelzen radio transmitter

Löffelstelzen Transmitter is a broadcasting facility of SWR at Bad Mergentheim-Löffelstelzen in northern Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It was inaugurated at the beginning of the 1950s and used at those days a guyed mast, which was insulated against ground, because it was used for medium-wave broadcasting with a butterfly antenna for FM- and TV-transmission on its top.

Botanischer Garten der Universität Würzburg

The Botanischer Garten der Universität Würzburg (9 hectares) is a botanical garden maintained by the University of Würzburg.
