Upper Rhine

The Upper Rhine is the section of the Rhine in the Upper Rhine Plain between Basel, Switzerland and Bingen, Germany. The river is marked by Rhine-kilometers 170 to 529 (the scale beginning in Konstanz and ending in Rotterdam). Lauter (Rhine)

The Lauter is a river in Germany and France, left tributary of the Rhine. Its length is 55 km. It is formed by the confluence of two headstreams (Scheidbach and Wartenbach) north of Hinterweidenthal in the Pfälzerwald, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It flows through Dahn, crosses the border with France, flows through Wissembourg, and then forms the French-German international boundary until its confluence with the Rhine near Lauterbourg and Neuburg am Rhein.

Europahalle

Europahalle is an indoor sporting arena located in Karlsruhe, Germany. The capacity of the arena is 9,000 people. The venue has featured a number of world record performances in athletics, including a jump of 2.07 m in the high jump by Heike Henkel in 1992, when the Europahalle hosted the German Indoor Championships. This mark remained unbettered indoors for fourteen years and remains one of the best ever performances in the discipline.
