Unterleinach

Unterleinach is a village situated outside of Würzburg, Germany. It is part of the municipality of Leinach. It is located south of Oberleinach. In 1976 Unterleinach celebrated its 1200 anniversary. Unterleinach and Oberleinach have rival soccer teams. Some mound graves have been discovered in the forest surrounding the town and a tower attributed to the huns is still intact.

Veitshöchheim station

Veitshöchheim station is a regional railway station in southern Germany. It is at kilometre marker 7.0 on the Main-Spessart Railway from Würzburg to Aschaffenburg. It was built during the construction of Ludwig's Western Railway, which was taken fully into service on 1 October 1854. The station was built in the immediate vicinity of Schloss Veitshöchheim, a summer residenz initially of the prince bishops of Würzburg, later the kings of Bavaria, at Veitshöchheim near Würzburg.

Marienberg Fortress

Marienberg Fortress is a prominent landmark on the Main river in Würzburg, Germany. The mighty Fortress Marienberg is the symbol of Würzburg and served as a home of the prince-bishops for nearly five centuries. It has been a fort since ancient times. After Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden conquered the area in 1631, the castle was reconstructed in the Baroque style. Today, it is a park and museum.
