Rotenhan Castle is a castle ruin about two kilometres north of the village of Eyrichshof in Lower Franconia in the south German state of Bavaria. Eyrichshof lies within the borough of Ebern in the district of Haßberge. The castle is the ancestral home (Stammsitz) of the House of Rotenhan, a family of imperial knights.

Horsdorf
Horsdorf is a district of Bad Staffelstein in Upper Franconia. It has around 200 residents and won the gold in the state contest Unser Dorf soll schöner werden in 1995. It also won the gold in the European contest Entente Florale in 1997. In Horsdorf, there was an area of 5.08 Hectares in 1887, where wine was grown. This winery was ruined by the infestation of Grape Phylloxera. Today there is once again a vineyard in Horsdorf, where red wine is made.

Itz
The Itz is a river in Germany and a 80-kilometre right tributary of the Main. The Itz begins in Sachsenbrunn (Stelzen), Thuringia and flows southward through Bachfeld and Schalkau. It crosses into Bavaria and feeds the Froschgrundsee reservoir. It continues through Dörfles-Esbach, Coburg, and Großheirath, then is joined by the Rodach north of Itzgrund. It continues southward to Rattelsdorf and Baunach, where it joins the Main. The Itz flooded Coburg in early 2003.
