The German Continental Deep Drilling Program (in German Kontinentales Tiefbohrprogramm der Bundesrepublik Deutschland), abbreviated as the KTB borehole, has been a scientific drilling project from 1987 to 1995 near Windischeschenbach, Bavaria.
