Frauenroth Abbey

Frauenroth Abbey is a former Cistercian nunnery in Burkardroth in Bavaria, South Germany, in the bishopric of Würzburg The abbey, dedicated to Saint George and All Saints, was built in 1231 by Count Otto II and Beatrix von Botenlauben, who were both later buried here. Following their deaths, their son, also called Otto, became head of the abbey. The abbey ceased was dissolved in 1574, and was taken over by the administrative office of the Prince-Bishop of Würzburg.

Bismarck Monument (Bad Kissingen)

The Bismarck Monument in Bad Kissingen is located in Hausen (a quarter of the German spa town, Bad Kissingen), which Chancellor Otto von Bismarck visited 14 times to "take the cure" between 1876 and 1893. The monument was built in 1877, during his lifetime. It was the first statue to be erected in Bismarck's honour.
