Lower Lusatia

Lower Lusatia is a historical region stretching from the southeast of the Brandenburg state of Germany to the southwest of the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland. Schwielochsee (lake)

The Schwielochsee is a lake in Lower Lusatia, the south-eastern part of Brandenburg, eastern Germany. Its area is 13.3 km², so it's the largest lake in this area. It is fed and drained by the river Spree. Part of it lies within the territory of the municipality Schwielochsee, that was named after the lake.

Falkenberg Mast

The Falkenberg Mast is a 99m guyed tower for meteorological measurements. It is located in the German state of Brandenburg at 52°9'59.91"N 14°7'19.83"E close to the Meteorological observatory Lindenberg (MOL) of the German Weather Service. The mast is fitted every 10m with equipment to measure wind speed, temperature and humidity, and sited in an enclosure with further equipment for monitoring several other meteorological parameters.

Dahme Flood Relief Canal

The Dahme Flood Relief Canal, or Dahme-Umflutkanal in German, is a canal in the German state of Brandenburg. Its principal purpose is to divert water from the upper reaches of the River Spree just below Leibsch, to run into the River Dahme at Märkisch Buchholz. The canal is entered from the River Spree by a lock and is navigable downstream to Märkisch Buchholz.
