Jänschwalde Power Station

The lignite-fired power station has an installed capacity of 3,000 megawatts and consists of six 500 MW units. It is the second-largest brown coal power plant in operation in Germany and is owned by Swedish state-owned Vattenfall. The power station was built between 1976 and 1989.

Gubin, Poland
Gubin is a town in Krosno Odrzańskie County, Lubusz Voivodeship southwestern Poland. Located on the right bank of the Lusatian Neisse River, it has a population of 15,000 inhabitants (2005).
