Behren-Bokel Transmitter

The Behren-Bokel Transmitter, also known as the Sprakensehl Transmitter is a 323-metre high guyed steel tube radio mast in Behren-Bokel near Uelzen in Lower Saxony, Germany. The mast is used for FM- and TV-broadcasting, and was at its erection time in 1961 the highest construction of West Germany.

Bullenkuhle

The Bullenkuhle is a predominantly marshy lake in the extreme north of the district of Gifhorn in the north German state of Lower Saxony. This strange biotope and geotope has been formed into a natural hollow in the terrain that is termed a sinkhole. The area is environmentally protected.

Hösseringen Museum Village

The Hösseringen Museum Village is located at Hösseringen in the German state of Lower Saxony. Covering an area of 10,000 square metres, it displays important examples of the Lower German, timber-framed, open-hall house, the so-called Low German house or Fachhallenhaus. These buildings are all faithful reconstructions, the majority stemming from Uelzen district, that have been dismantled, moved and rebuilt on the site.

Hankensbüttel Otter Centre

The Hankensbüttel Otter Centre is a nature experience centre in Hankensbüttel, in the German district of Gifhorn, that is laid out in 6 hectares of open land by a lake known as the Isenhagener See.
