Wietze (Örtze)
The Wietze is a river, 29 kilometres long, in the South Lüneburg Heath, in Lower Saxony, Germany. The river rises east of the Soltau suburb of Moide and flows from there in a southerly direction to Wietzendorf. Here it is joined by the only tributary of any size, the Aue. The Aue has two source streams: the Hötzinger Aue, which rises north of Stübeckshorn, 98 m above sea level and the Alvernsche Aue, that has its source northwest of Alvern, 86 m above sea level.

Deimern is a village in the borough of Soltau in the Heidekreis district in the German state of Lower Saxony. The village has a population of 198 . The hamlets of Timmerloh, Harmelingen and Grasengrund belong to the parish of Deimern. Deimern lies on the Lüneburg Heath northeast of Soltau. The district roads K 2 and K 3 cross near Deimern. The parish chairman is Bodo Lühr (as at 2008). The Ehbläcksmoor nature reserve is located in the parish.

Colossos is a wooden roller coaster at Heide Park in Soltau, Lower Saxony, Germany. It is the first wooden roller coaster to use prefabricated track. Colossos is currently the tallest wooden roller coaster in the world. Colossos is very different from a traditional wooden roller coaster because it is prefabricated. Instead of trackers cutting, shaping, and laying down the track by hand, the track is laser cut in a factory, achieving a higher degree of precision than could ever be done by hand.
