Grundloser See

The Grundloser See is situated within 295 hectares of moorland, known as the Grundloses Moor, near the town of Walsrode in the German state of Lower Saxony. Both are located about 3.5 kilometres north of the village of Fulde (within the borough of Walsrode) and 5 kilometres northwest of the town centre of Walsrode. The 2.5 metre deep lake is 435 metres long from north to south, and 160 metres wide in its northern part. It has an area of 4.7 hectares and lies at 72.5 metres above mean sea level.

Weltvogelpark Walsrode is a bird park located in the middle of the Lüneburg Heath in North Germany within the municipality of Bomlitz near Walsrode in the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. Weltvogelpark Walsrode is the largest bird park in the world in terms of species as well as land area (The Jurong Bird Park in Singapore claims the largest number individual birds), It covers 24 hectares and houses some 4,200 birds of over 675 species from every continent and climatic zone in the world.
