Wrestedt is a former Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the district of Uelzen, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Its seat was in the village Wrestedt. At the 1 November 2011 local government reform, its municipalities merged into the municipality Wrestedt, and the Samtgemeinden Wrestedt and Bodenteich merged to form the new Samtgemeinde Aue. Aue (Samtgemeinde)

Aue is a Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the district of Uelzen, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Its seat is in the village Wrestedt. It was formed on 1 November 2011 by the merger of the former Samtgemeinden Wrestedt and Bodenteich. The Samtgemeinde Aue consists of the following municipalities: Bad Bodenteich Lüder Soltendieck

Uelzen station

The Uelzen station is a crossing station in Uelzen at the eastern edge of the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park in northeastern Lower Saxony. The original station was renovated for Expo 2000 following plans by the Austrian artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser. As an "environmentally culturally oriented" station, the Uelzen station is now marketed as the Hundertwasser-Bahnhof Uelzen (Hundertwasser Station, Uelzen). Today it is one of the town's popular tourist attractions.
