Müden (Örtze)
Müden is a village in the municipality of Faßberg in the southern part of the Lüneburg Heath in the German state of Lower Saxony. The village, which is situated in the district of Celle has around 2220 inhabitants and is a very popular tourist centre, whose catchment area includes Hamburg, Bremen and Hanover. RAF Fassberg
The former Royal Air Force Station Fassberg, more commonly known as RAF Fassberg, was a Royal Air Force airbase in Germany situated in the northern suburbs of Fassberg, Lower Saxony. The RAF disestablished the station and was closed down in January 1957, formally handed over from the 23 LAA RAF Regiment to the German Air Force. It is now Faßberg Air Base, and home to the German Army Aviation Corps "Army Aviation Transport Helicopter Regiment 10".

Wietzer Berg
The Wietzer Berg is a low hill, 102 metres above sea level, on the Lüneburg Heath in the north German district of Celle. It lies about 2 kilometres west-southwest of the tourist village of Müden (Örtze) and is a popular destination in the generally flat landscape of the Südheide Nature Park. On its summit in an area of heathland is the Lönsstein monument, which commemorates the heath poet, Hermann Löns.

Bonstorf Barrows
The Bonstorf Barrows (German: Grabhügelfeld von Bonstorf) are the remains of a much larger barrow cemetery on the Lüneburg Heath in north Germany dating to the late neolithic or early bronze age. They are located east of the village of Bonstorf, part of the municipality of Hermannsburg in the Lower Saxon district of Celle. The site comprises six, closely packed burial mounds or barrows.
