Sieben Berge

The Sieben Berge ("Seven Hills") are a ridge of hills up to 395 m above sea level in the Lower Saxon Hills in the district of Hildesheim, Lower Saxony. Together with the Vorberge and the Sackwald the Sieben Berge belong to the geological formation of the Sackmulde. They are famous as a result of the fairy tale, Snow White.

Fagus Factory

The Fagus Factory, a shoe last factory in Alfeld on the Leine in Germany, is an important] example of early modern architecture. Commissioned by owner Carl Benscheidt who wanted a radical structure to express the company's break from the past, the factory was designed by Walter Gropius and Adolf Meyer. It was constructed between 1911 and 1913, with additions and interiors completed in 1925. For the first time a complete facade is conceived in glass.

Leine Uplands

The Leine Uplands is a region in Germany's Central Uplands which forms a part of the Lower Saxon Hills and lies along the River Leine between Göttingen and Hanover.
