Nowe Warpno

Nowe Warpno is a town in northwestern Poland, in Police County in West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It lies on the shore of the Szczecin Lagoon, very close to the border with Germany. It is the seat of the urban-rural gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Nowe Warpno. The town's population is 1,170 (according to figures for 2006).

Neuwarper See

The Neuwarper See, also Warper See is a bay on the southern shore of the Szczecin Lagoon. It runs for about 6 kilometres into the interior and has two narrow channels to the lagoon in the north that are each only 150 metres wide and divided by a small island of reeds. The west and south shores of the bay belong to the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald in the German federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the east shore is part of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Riether Werder

The Riether Werder, also Riethscher Werder, is an island in the Neuwarper See, a bay in the Stettin Lagoon. It is the only island in the lagoon on German territory. The first recorded mention of the island dates to the year 1252, when Duke Barnim I of Pomerania gifted this island along with other possessions to Eldena Abbey. It was then given it the Slavic name Wozstro. The present name of the island is derived from the village of Rieth on the southern shore of the bay.

Warnołęka

Warnołęka (formerly German Wahrlang) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nowe Warpno, within Police County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland, close to the German border. It lies approximately 7 kilometres east of Nowe Warpno, 23 km north-west of Police, and 35 km north-west of the regional capital Szczecin. Before 1945 the area was part of Germany.
