Teufelsrutsch

Die Teufelsrutsch ("Devil's Slide") is a densely wooded porphyry knoll in Rhenish Hesse, Germany. It is a popular place for excursions with wonderful views over the Wiesbach valley. The name "Devil's Slide" was inspired by a local tale, according to which the residents of Wendelsheim (a nearby village) once tricked the devil into sliding down the stony slope on his bare bottom. Thereafter he was never seen again. Nearby, the remains of a Celtic stronghold have been found.

Bad Münster am Stein station

Bad Münster am Stein station is a station at a railway junction in Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg in the district of Bad Kreuznach in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Here the Alsenz Valley Railway branches from the Nahe Valley Railway (Nahetalbahn). The station building, dating from about 1910, is protected as a monument. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station.

Alsenz (river)

The Alsenz is a river in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, a right tributary to the Nahe River. It rises in Enkenbach-Alsenborn, north-east of Kaiserslautern, flows generally north, and joins the Nahe in Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg. Its length is approx. 57 km.
