Ernst Grube Stadium

Ernst Grube Stadium was a multi-use stadium in Magdeburg, Germany. It was mostly used for football matches. The stadium had a capacity of 25,800 people and was built in 1955. The ground was demolished in 2005 to make room for a new stadium that has been opened in December 2006.

Jahrtausendturm

Jahrtausendturm is, at 60 metres, the third highest wooden tower in the world, after the radio towers in Rottenbuch (Germany) and Gliwice (Poland). It was established on the occasion of the Bundesgartenschau 1999 in the Magdeburger Elbauenpark in Magdeburg, Germany. The tower houses an exhibition on the development of sciences, which is supported by many descriptive experiments with which the visitor can interact.

GETEC Arena

The GETEC Arena is an indoor sporting arena located in Magdeburg, Germany. The maximum capacity of the arena is 7,071 people for handball games and 6,820 for boxing matches. It is the current home to SC Magdeburg's Handball-Bundesliga team.
