Liegau-Augustusbad

Augustusbad is a watering-place of Germany, in the Free State of Saxony, 10 miles east from Dresden, close to Radeberg, in a pleasant valley. It has five saline chalybeate springs, used both for drinking and bathing, and specific in feminine disorders, rheumatism, paralysis and neuralgia. State Museum of Zoology, Dresden

The State Museum of Zoology (German: Staatliches Museum für Tierkunde) in Dresden is a natural history museum that houses 10,000-50,000 specimens, including skeletons and large insect collections. Many are types. The collection suffered war damage and whilst catalogued the database is not computerized. Loans are possible and material can be studied in the collection. ZMD

For ZMD, see also Zentralrat der Muslime in Deutschland Zentrum Mikroelektronik Dresden AG (ZMD AG) is a fabless (since March 2007) semiconductor manufacturer based in Dresden. In the 1980s, ZMDI was regarded as the heart of the GDR-microelectronics research. ZMDI was founded in 1961. ZMDI produced the GDR's first 1-megabyte DRAM U61000 in 1988. However, serial production was not achieved by 1990.
