Afidnes railway station

Afidnes (Greek: Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Αφιδνών, Sidirodromikos Stathmos Afidnon) is a railway station in Afidnes, a suburb north of Athens, Greece. It is situated on the Piraeus–Platy railway, at km 40.086 from Piraeus. The station was opened on March 8, 1904. It has two platforms. It is located outside the village of Afidnes. After the station was built, a new settlement arose near it named Stathmos Afidnon ("Afidnes station").

Athens ERA-1 Transmitter is a facility of Greek broadcasting transmission for broadcasting the program of ERA-1 on 729 kHz with 150 kW in the standard mediumwave band. Lake Marathon

Lake Marathon or the Marathon Reservoir is a water supply reservoir formed from the construction of Marathon Dam at the junction of Charadros and Varnavas Torrents near the town of Marathon, Greece. It was the primary water supply for Athens from 1931, when it became operational, until 1959. In 1959 water from Lake Yliki became available, and water from Mornos Reservoir became available in 1981.

Agios Stefanos railway station

Agios Stefanos (Greek: Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Αγίου Στεφάνου) is a railway station in Agios Stefanos, north of Athens, Greece, at km 33.5 of the Piraeus–Platy railway. The station was opened on March 8, 1904. It has two platforms. In the early years, the station was known under the name Bogiati (Μπογιάτι) or Vogiati (Βογιάτι), which derived from a common name of the settlement of Agios Stefanos. It was renamed to Oion (Οίον) and changed again to its current name in the 1980s.

Tatoi Palace
