Oinochori

Oinochori is a small village in the municipal unit of Gravia, Phocis, Greece. It is located at an altitude of approximately 900 meters on the slope of Mount Oiti. Ruins just outside the village are thought to be from the Dorian or pre-Dorian city of Dryopis.

Doris (Greece)

Doris, is a small mountainous district in ancient Greece, bounded by Aetolia, southern Thessaly, the Ozolian Locrians, and Phocis; the original homeland of the Dorian Greeks. It lies between Mounts Oeta and Parnassus, and consists of the valley of the river Pindus (Πίνδος), a tributary of the Cephissus, into which it flows not far from the sources of the latter. The Pindus is now called the Apostoliá.

Greek National Road 27

Greek National Road 27 (Greek: Εθνική Οδός 27, abbreviated as EO27) is a single carriageway road in central Greece. It connects the Greek National Road 3 at Bralos, south of Lamia, with the GR-48 near Itea, passing through Amfissa. It is part of the European route E65. The road passes through the regional units Phocis and Phthiotis.

Gorgopotamos (river)

The Gorgopotamos (Greek: Γοργοπόταμος, "the rushing river") is a river in the southern part of Phthiotis, Central Greece, Greece not far from the border with Phocis. The river is host to the Ellinopygosteos fish .

Kanianitis

The Kanianitis is a river in Phocis, central Greece. It receives its water from the mountains Oeta and Giona. It flows through the villages Kastellia, Gravia and Mariolata, and flows into the Cephissus near the village Lilaia. In antiquity, it was called Pindos or Pindus. The Pindus was a river of ancient Doris. The Dorian cities Lilaea and Pindus were situated on the river.
