Kato Vermio

Kato Vermio is a mountain village and winter sports resort located in the Vermion Mountains of northern Greece. The village of Kato Vermio is located at a distance of 22 km from Veria and 93 km from Thessaloniki, in Imathia, Central Macedonia. The altitude of the village is 1400–1540 meters, the highest village in Greece. There are many restored and newly built vacation homes, mountain cottages and chalets in the village and the climate consists of cool summers and snowy winters.

Peraia, Pella

Peraía is a village in the Pella regional unit of Macedonia, Greece on the bank of Lake Vegoritida. The village is located south of the town of Arnissa within the Vegoritida Municipality which belongs to the Province of Edessa. The village was formerly inhabited by a Turkish-speaking Muslim population. The original Turkish name of the village was Kotsana. After the 1922 population exchange between Turkey and Greece, the village was inhabited by Greeks who had come from Asia Minor.

Karydia, Pella

Karydia is a village in the municipality of Edessa, Pella regional unit, northern Greece. It is situated 9 km northwest of Edessa. At the church in the locality Kosteno there is an annual festival on 21 May, the day of Saint Helena.

Vermio Mountains

The Vermio Mountains, the ancient Bermion, is a mountain range in northern Greece. It lies between the Imathia Regional Unit of the Central Macedonia Region and the Kozani Regional Unit of the Western Macedonia Region. The range is west of the plain of Kambania. The town of Veria, which is the capital of Imathia, is built οn the foot of these mountains. The highest point in the range is 6,732 feet (2,052 m) near Naousa.

Sotira, Pella

Sotira (Greek: Σωτήρα, is a community of the municipality of Edessa in Pella regional unit, Greece. It is situated in the north of the city of Edessa, at the edges of Mount Borras . Its permanent indigenous population is estimated at up to two hundred inhabitants, who are usually working as farmers or cattle-breeders. The village, mainly because of its suitability of climate, was chosen as the perfect place to locate a mountain campsite, later known as "Sotira's campsite".
