Acheron

Gaios

Gaios is the main port on Paxi, the smallest of the seven principal Ionian Islands, in Greece. Gaios is situated on the east coast of the island. It is named after a homonymous pupil of Paul the Apostle, who brought Christianity to the island.

Thyamis

The Thyamis, also known as Glycis or Kalamas, is a river in the Epirus region of Greece. It flows into the Ionian Sea. The names of the Chameria region (Tsiamouria in Greek), as well as the former Cham minority, derive from the river's name. Thyamis in ancient Greece was mentioned by Pausanias as forming the boundary between Thesprotis and Kestrine.

Thyamida

Thyamida was one of the four provinces of Thesprotia Prefecture of Greece. Its territory corresponded with that of the current municipality Igoumenitsa, except the municipal units Margariti and Perdika. Its seat was the town Igoumenitsa. It was abolished in 2006.
