Myrsini, Laconia
Myrsini is a village and a community in the municipality East Mani, Laconia, southern Greece. The community consists of the villages Myrsini and Profitis Ilias . The villages lie on the southern slopes of the Taygetos mountain range, in the Mani Peninsula at an altitude of 400m to 500m near the town of Gytheio.

Kastania, Laconia
Kastania is a town in Mesa Mani, in Laconia, Greece. It is part of the municipal unit Smynos. In 1770, after the Orlov Revolt failed, the Ottomans wanted to punish the Maniots for their support of it. They attacked the two Maniot pyrgoi which belonged to the Venetsanakis clan. With them was the father of the hero of the Greek War of Independence, Theodoros Kolokotronis, Kostantinos Kolokotronis and his wife who was pregnant with his son.

Passavas
Passavas or Las is situated on the Mani Peninsula. In ancient times Las was a Spartan possession and in 218 BC the citizens of the city fought and routed and group of Philip V of Macedon's army. Las became part of the Union of Free Laconians in 195 BC when it separated from Sparta. The Spartans however recaptured the city in 189 BC. Sparta was then taken over by the Achaean League and Las gained its independence again.

Arna, Greece
Arna is a village on the eastern slopes of the Taygetus mountain range, at an altitude of 700m to 850m (2,300 to 2,800 feet). Located in Laconia, in the Peloponnese, it used to form part of the municipal unit of Faris until the 31st of December of 2010. Since 1st of January of 2011 it is one of the local communities of the municipality of Sparta. The nearest major towns are Gytheio, 35 km to the southeast, and Sparta, approximately 40 km to the north. The area has a rich history.

Dimitrios shipwreck
Dimitrios (Greek Δημήτριος) is a Greek shipwreck famous due to its picturesque location on an easily accessible sandy beach near Gythio, Greece. "Dimitrios" (previously named "Klintholm"), a small, 67 metre freight ship of 965 tons cargo capacity built in 1950, is registered to the Prefecture of Piraeaus, registration no. 2707. The ship belonged to 76.75% to the Mollari Brothers and to 23.25% to the Matsinou Brothers (Greek Άφοι Ματσινού).
