Greek National Road 70

Greek National Road 70 (Greek: Εθνική Οδός 70, abbreviated as EO70) is a single carriageway road in southern Greece. It connects Corinth with Argos, via Epidavros and Nafplio. Epidaurus

Epidaurus was a small city in ancient Greece, at the Saronic Gulf. Two modern towns bear the name Epidavros (Επίδαυρος): Palaia Epidavros and Nea Epidavros. Since 2010 they belong to the new municipality of Epidavros, part of the regional unit of Argolis. The seat of the municipality is the town Asklipieio.

Apollo Maleatas

The sanctuary of Apollo Maleatas is located on a low hill on Mount Kynortion, south-east of the sanctuary of Asklepios at Epidaurus. At the peak of the hill was a small Early Helladic settlement, which was never built on in later periods. At the beginning of the Late Bronze Age, an open-air altar was used where animals were sacrificed and votives deposited in the ash. Dedications include votive bronze double axes, bronze swords, and clay animal figurines.

Temple of Asclepius, Epidauros

Asclepius (Asklepios) was a much-worshiped ancient Greek god of health and well-being, and his sanctuary at Epidauros was, in extent, the rival of such major cult sites as the Sanctuary of Zeus at Olympia and Apollo at Delphi. Its major temple to the healing god, the Temple of Asclepios at Epidauros, was built in the early fourth century BCE. The temple was Doric, six columns by eleven, measuring ca. 80 meters in length. It is preserved in foundations only.

Archaeological Museum of Epidaurus

Archaeological Museum of Epidaurus is a museum in Epidaurus, in Argolis on the Peloponnese peninsula, Greece. The museum, noted for its reconstructions of temples and its columns and inscriptions, was established in 1902 and opened in 1909 to display artifacts unearthed in the ancient site of Epidaurus in the surrounding area.
