Syros Island National Airport (Greek: Κρατικός Αερολιμένας Σύρου) is an airport serving Syros Island in Greece. It is also known as Syros National Airport "Demetrius Vikelas" (Greek: Κρατικός Αερολιμένας Σύρου "Δημήτριος Βικέλας"), named for Demetrius Vikelas (1835–1908), a Greek businessman and writer born in Ermoupoli on the island of Syros. Syros is part of the Cyclades island group in the Aegean Sea, located 78 nautical miles southeast of Athens.

Greek cruiser Elli (1912)
Elli was a 2,600 ton Greek protected cruiser named for a naval battle of the First Balkan War in which Greece was victorious. She was completed in 1913 and commissioned in 1914. Elli saw action during World War I and in the disastrous Asia Minor Expedition. An Italian submarine sank her, before the outbreak of the Greco-Italian War on 15th of August 1940 while she sat at anchor.

Our Lady of Tinos
Our Lady of Tinos (Greek: Παναγία Ευαγγελίστρια της Τήνου, Panagía Evangelístria tēs Tēnou, literally "The All-Holy Bringer of Good News"; or Μεγαλόχαρη της Τήνου, Megalócharē tēs Tēnou, literally is the major Marian shrine in Greece. It is located in the town of Tinos on the island of Tinos. The complex is built around a miraculous icon which according to tradition was found after the Virgin appeared to the nun St. Pelagia and revealed to her the place where the icon was buried.
