Kaiafas
This article is about the Thermal Springs. For the Cypriot footballer, see Sotiris Kaiafas. Kaiafas or Thermal Springs of Kaiafas is a spa in the municipality of Zacharo in southwestern Greece. It is located 347 km SW of Athens, 30 km SE of Pyrgos, 20 km S of Olympia, nearly 32 km N of Kyparissia and some 90 km NW of Kalamata. The Thermal Springs of Kaiafas, is a geological formation that consists of a spring where warm water comes from deep inside the Earth's crust and flows up to the surface.

Artemida, Elis
Artemida (Greek, Αρτέμιδα; formerly called Koumouthekra, Κουμουθέκρα) is a village near Zacharo in southern Elis in the western part of the Peloponnese peninsula of Greece. The village was completely destroyed in the 2007 Greek forest fires. Twenty-three residents of Artemida lost their lives . On August 30, 2007, the Government of Cyprus announced that it will completely reconstruct the village and cover the complete cost of doing so.

Sami (ancient city)
Sami, also referred to as Samia, Arini, or Makistos was a city in Ancient Greece. It was located in the Elis region, in western Peloponnese. The archaeological site consists of the remains of Sami's fortified citadel which dates to the Archaic period. It is situated on the slopes of the Lapithas mountain and faces the coast of the Ionian sea and also the plain of the Kato Samiko area.

Zacharo beach
Zacharo beach (Greek: Παραλία Ζαχάρως), is the name of a beach that is located in the vicinity of Zacharo, in Southwestern Greece. It is situated on the Ionian Sea coast, in the area of the Gulf of Kyparissia. The beach features a soft, sandy terrain and is one of the lengthiest in Greece. It has been awarded the Blue flag prize for water quality and environmental management.
