Kella, Florina

Kella is a village in the Amyntaio municipality of the Florina regional unit, Greece. The village was first mentioned in an Ottoman defter of 1468, where it is listed under the name of Gorničevo and described as a small settlement of thirty households. A second defter of 1481 records that the number had increased by only three households.

Flampouro, Florina

Flampouro is a village in the central part of Florina regional unit, northern Greece, part of the Perasma municipal unit. The original indigenous name for the village of Flambouro is Negovani and means "cold water" (known for its pure mineral water source) The village's year round population is estimated at 500 people, but in the summer it grows to nearly 700. In the surrounding area many other villages can be found, including Aetos, Skopia, Kato Ydroussa, and Ano Ydroussa.

Mavrochori

Mavrochori (Greek: Μαυροχώρι meaning "black town"; formerly Mavrobon, Μαύροβον; Macedonian: Маврово) is a village in Greece near Kastoria on the shores of Kastoria lake which was in existence at least from 1380 and is denoted, under the name Mavrobo, in the British Baldwin & Craddock Map of Greece which was published on 1 January 1830 (printed by a printer at 47 Paternoster Row, London).

Archaeological Museum of Florina

The Archaeological Museum of Florina is a museum in Florina in West Macedonia, Greece. The museum is housed in a two-storey building that was constructed in 1969 and renovated internally in 1999. It has prehistoric, Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine finds from the Florina area. On the ground floor are the prehistoric finds, chiefly from the excavations carried out in 1997–8 at Armenohori, but also from other excavations.

Peraia, Pella

Peraía is a village in the Pella regional unit of Macedonia, Greece on the bank of Lake Vegoritida. The village is located south of the town of Arnissa within the Vegoritida Municipality which belongs to the Province of Edessa. The village was formerly inhabited by a Turkish-speaking Muslim population. The original Turkish name of the village was Kotsana. After the 1922 population exchange between Turkey and Greece, the village was inhabited by Greeks who had come from Asia Minor.
