Trou Caïman
Trou Caïman, sometimes called Eau Gallée by locals, is a saltwater lake in Haiti known for its excellent birdwatching opportunities. The lake is 9 km (5.6 mi) long, 3 km (1.9 mi) wide, and approximately 16 km² (6.2 mi²) in area. It is located northeast of Croix-des-Bouquets in the Ouest Department on the Plaine du Cul-de-Sac rift valley nearby much larger saline lakes such as Lake Azuéi in Haiti, and Lake Enriquillo in the Dominican Republic.

Etang Saumâtre
Étang Saumâtre is the largest lake in Haiti and the second largest lake in Hispaniola, after Lake Enriquillo. It is also known as Lac Azuéi (Lake Azuéi); it is called Lago del Fondo in the Dominican Republic. Its Taíno name was Yainagua. The Étang Saumâtre, the brackish water lake is a twin of the Enriquillo Lake, is 22 kilometres east of Port-au-Prince on the fertile Plaine du Cul-de-Sac.

Péligre Dam
The Péligre Dam is a hydroelectric dam located off the Centre Department on the Artibonite River of Haiti. It is the largest dam on the island of Hispaniola consisting of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. The dam was created as a flood-control and an energy-providing measure in the Artibonite river valley as part of the Artibonite Valley Agricultural Project in the 1930s. The dam was completed in 1956 thus creating Lake Péligre (essentially a large reservoir) in the process.
