Black Point Power Station

Black Point Power Station (龍鼓灘發電廠) is a gas-fired power station in Hong Kong, near to Castle Peak Power Station, another power station serving China Light and Power. Built in 1996 near Lung Kwu Tan in Tuen Mun District, the station was built for China Light and Power and provides 2,500 MW of power. The complex consists of two halls with 4 turbines in each hall producing cleaner power when compared to coal or other gas powered plants. The last turbine was completed in 2006.

Castle Peak, Hong Kong

For a formal area name in Hong Kong, see Tuen Mun. Castle Peak or Pui To Shan (杯渡山) is a 583 m high peak in the western New Territories of Hong Kong. In contrast to its Chinese name, which means green hill, Castle Peak is notorious for its severe loss of vegetation and weathering of its Granite surface. The area to the west of the hill was also named Castle Peak. It is an industrial area with several power plants owned by CLP.

Hung Lau

Hung Lau or Red House is a house in a farm in Pak Kok, Tuen Mun, Hong Kong, near the Tun Mun Public Riding School, Butterfly Estate and Castle Peak. The house and the farm was where Dr. Sun Yat-sen planned to overthrow the Qing dynasty. It named after its appearance, red bricks with plastering in red colour. The two-storey house is of the combination of Chinese and Western architectures. Adjacent to the house is a garden commemorating Dr.

Lung Kwu Chau

Lung Kwu Chau is an island at the northwest water of Hong Kong. It is off the shore of Lung Kwu Tan near Tuen Mun in the mainland New Territories, separated by waterway of Urmston Road. The island is formed of Hong Kong granite and is unoccupied.
