Fljótavík
Fljótavík is a wide cove in the far north-west of Hornstrandir, in the Westfjords region in Iceland. It is a part of the nature reserve Hornstrandafriðland (status granted in 1975) which covers the northernmost tip of Hornstrandir. A deep valley rises from the cove and a shallow lake (which is more of a lagoon). It was settled during the settler age by Geirmundur heljarskinn who also settled nearby coves and valleys.

Ísafjarðardjúp
Ísafjarðardjúp is a large fjord in the Westfjords region of Iceland. Its name translates as Ice fjord deep. Ísafjörður, capital of the Westfjords region, is situated close to the mouth of Ísafjarðardjúp. The north-eastern coast is fairly straight with the only inlet being Kaldalón, but the southern side has fjords extending well into the land: Skutulsfjörður, Álftafjörður, Seyðisfjörður, Hestsfjörður, Skötufjörður, Mjóifjörður and Ísafjörður.
