Mogra

Mogra (also spelt Magra or Mugra) is a gram panchayat, police station and headquarters of Chinsurah-Mogra community development block in Hooghly district in West Bengal, India. It is in Chinsurah subdivision. It is a railway station on the Howrah-Bardhaman Main Line, 47 km from Howrah station, and 7 km from Bandel. All India Radio has located some of its high power transmitters at Mogra. These transmitters carry a mix of domestic and external services.

Academy of Technology

The Academy of Technology (AOT) is an engineering college in West Bengal, India. To meet the growing demand of technical manpower and in view of fiscal constraints at the government level, the Ananda Educational Development and Charitable Organisation decided to supplement the State government’s efforts in setting up new engineering colleges by establishing the Academy of Technology in September 2003.
