Bardepur

Bardepur (बरदेपुर) is a small village on National Highway 105 in India. Geographically, it is surrounded by a small seasonal stream that is considered by the locals to be a source of the Jeevachh river. Politically, it is under Pursoulia Gram Panchayat of Kaluahi Block in Madhubani District of Bihar. Sociologically, this village has special significance as Hindu and Muslim families here have lived together harmoniously for generations.

Jainagar, Bihar

Jainagar (also spelt Jaynagar) is a city and a notified area in Madhubani district in the Indian state of Bihar. It is situated on the holy river Kamla. Jaynagar, on the Barauni–Gorakhpur, Raxaul and Jainagar lines, is now well connected by broad gauge railway system with the major cities of India, and has a railway line to Nepal with a customs checkpoint, though this is currently in poor condition. NH 104 and NH 105 connect with Jaynagar, providing it with good transport facilities.

Madhubani, India

Madhubani is a town and a municipality in Madhubani district in the Indian state of Bihar. It is the district headquarters. It lies 26 km northeast of Darbhanga town and was part of the erstwhile 'Bettiah Raj'. Internal disputes and family quarrels divided the Bettiah Raj in course of time. The Madhuban Raj in Madhubani was created as a consequence.
