Munger Ganga Bridge

Munger Ganga Bridge (Hindi: मुंगेर गंगा सेतु), is a rail-cum-road bridge under construction across the Ganges, at Munger in the Indian state of Bihar. The 3.19 km long bridge costing Rs. 9,300 million is located 55 km downstream of the Rajendra Setu near Mokama and 68 km upstream of the Vikramshila Setu at Bhagalpur. The bridge will form a link between NH 80 on the southern side of the Ganges and NH 31 on the northern side of the Ganges.

Jamalpur, Munger

Jamalpur is a city and a municipality in Munger district in the Indian state of Bihar. The name Jamalpur literally means Jamal (beautiful) pur (town). Jamalpur is best known for the Jamalpur Locomotive Workshop, which employs over 25,000 people at its training institution, The Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. The town was established in 1862 during the British Raj, with the Railways Institute forming its cultural hub.

Khagaria

Khagaria is a city in India, and the administrative headquarter of Khagaria district. Khagaria is a part of Munger division. The town has a major railway junction on the Barauni–Guwahati line of the Indian Railways. National Highway 31 which connects rest of the India to Northeast India passes through this town. It is connected to other parts of Bihar by another rail line to Saharsa and Samastipur.
