Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus

Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus (formerly known as Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Engineering and Technology) is an engineering college in the Ferozepur city of Punjab. It was established by Punjab Government in the year 1995. Dr. Tejinder Singh Sidhu is the current director. The institute is fully promoted by the Punjab Government and is registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act 1860.

Apna Hi Ghar Samajhiye

Apna Hi Ghar Samajhiye (meaning "Make Yourself at Home") was a BBC television and radio programme, presented in Hindustani, with the aim of helping immigrants from South Asia to the United Kingdom to become integrated. The first episode was broadcast at 9am on Sunday 10 October 1965 as "In Logon Se Miliye" meaning "Can I Help You?". In January 1966 this was altered to "Apna Hi Ghar Samajhiye" meaning "Make Yourself At Home".

Faridkot district

Faridkot district is one of the twenty-two districts in the state of Punjab in North-West Republic of India. According to Punjab's Geo-Area, Faridkot is a Malwa district. It is one of the biggest cotton markets in South-East Asia. The name 'Faridkot' is derived from Baba Farid, a god-lover who wanted see the God. Faridkot was feudlist province under British rule, but now it is a district in Punjab in independent India. Few part of District Moga & Mukatsar were also taken from Faridkot.

Firozpur district

Firozpur district is one of the twenty-two districts in the state of Punjab in North-West Republic of India. It comprises an area of 11,142 km . The surface is level, with the exception of a few sand-hills in the south and south-east. The country consists of two distinct tracts that are liable to annual fertilizing inundations from the Sutlej, the only river, which runs along the north-western boundary. The principal crops are wheat, barley, millet, gram, pulses, oil seeds, cotton, and tobacco.
