Deoria Tal
Deoria Tal (Also spelled as Devaria' or 'Deoriya) is a lake located about 3 km on an uphill trek from the villages of Mastura and Sari, on the Ukhimath-Chopta road in Uttarakhand. At an altitude of about 2387 meters, it has heavily wooded, lush green surroundings with snow covered mountains (Chaukhamba is one of them) in the backdrop. There are options of overnight camping, jungle trek etc. There are a couple of shops which sell tea and snacks, but these close at sundown.

Gauri Kund
Gauri Kund is an important Hindu pilgrimage site on the way to Kedarnath, which is another nine miles uphill from there. It is situated at an altitude of more than 6000 feet in the Garhwal Himalayas. Kedarnath is one of the most sacred sites in Hinduism and it is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is venerated as a Paadal Petra Sthalam by the 6th-7th century Nayanars saints. Gauri Kund is connected with Shiva's wife Parvati, also known as Gauri in various parts of India.

Kedarnath is a Hindu holy town located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is a nagar panchayat in Rudraprayag district. The most remote of the four Char Dham sites, Kedarnath is located in the Himalayas, about 3584m(11759 Ft. ) above sea level near Chorabari Glacier, the head of river Mandakini, and is flanked by breathtaking snow-capped peaks.
