Badung Regency

Badung is a regency (kabupaten) of Bali, Indonesia. It has an area of 418.52 km and population of 543,332 (2010 Census) and a density of 1,293.37 per square kilometer. It is the location of the Battle of Marga, where Indonesian National Hero I Gusti Ngurah Rai was killed by Dutch forces during the Indonesian Revolution.
