Badung Regency

Badung is a regency (kabupaten) of Bali, Indonesia. It has an area of 418.52 km and population of 543,332 (2010 Census) and a density of 1,293.37 per square kilometer. It has undergone a population boom in the last decade, and has grown into the largest of the suburban regions of Greater Denpasar. It covers Bali's most heavy touristic regions, including Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Canggu, Uluwatu, Badung, and Mengwi.

Batuan, Bali

Batuan is a village in Bali, Indonesia. It is noted for its artwork and style of painting which originated in the village in the 1930s and has since emerged into a major Balinese artistic style, known as a Batuan painting. Marga, Tabanan

Marga is a district of Tabanan Regency, Bali, Indonesia. It is the location of the Battle of Marga, where Indonesian National Hero I Gusti Ngurah Rai was killed by Dutch forces during the Indonesian Revolution. This battle, in which 96 Indonesians were killed, has been characterized by Balinese writers as a Puputan, such as those of 1906-08.

Ubud Monkey Forest

The Ubud Monkey Forest is a nature reserve and temple complex in Ubud, Bali. Its full name as written on a welcome sign is the Padangtegal Mandala Wisata Wanara Wana Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. The complex houses approximately 340 Crab-eating Macaque (Macaca fascicularis) monkeys (32 adult males, 19 male sub adult, 77 adult females, 122 juvenile and 54 infants). There are four groups of monkeys each occupying different territories in the park.
